Find your Vero Beach Dreem Home

With so many listings of beautiful homes featured in all the real estate websites, looking for your dream home can be overwhelming.  With so many choices, features and amenities, it is easy to want it all, but is it the smart thing to do?

Do you really need those barn doors, or farmhouse sink in the kitchen to be happy with your choice?  Do you really need a 3-car garage?  Could the lack of granite countertop or that fancy kitchen backsplash be a deal breaker or could that be a future renovation project?

When looking for a new home the most important step is getting pre-approved for a mortgage.  This way you to know your budget before you fall in love with a home that is way out of your budget.

One way to do it is through a screening features list like this one:

  • “Must-Have”– for example proximity to work or family, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, etc.

  • “Should-Have”– for example storm protection, tile floor, pool, etc.

  • “Wish List”– You know that you have found a winner if you find a property within your budget that has all of the “must-haves” and most of the “should-haves”.
